What is Chakra Healing
In Sanskrit, tantra means “loom, weave, warp” and Chakra means "wheel." In Indian traditions Tantra can mean "text, system, method." Tantra brings us to understand that everything is interconnected. Nothing exists independently, and everything is part of the same reality. Every wheel has to keep moving or it is blocked and creates an energetic knot.
Tantra brings the unconscious conscious. Chakras run through your body and they are connected to light, sound, and color.
The body stores suppressed experiences of emotional and sexual trauma in our chakras resulting from such things as betrayal, assault, molestation, or rape in energy knots. It is a heavy load that influences day-to-day interactions with others.
Tantric Healing (aka Sexual Healing) seeks to reveal and release those energy knots in our chakras that block a person’s full experience and expression of their sexual energy. Upon opening of the chakras the body starts to relax and feel safe and the door is open to experience connection, freedom, and pleasure. Opening our chakras help with our search for serenity. Serenity is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.
Energy knots are psychosomatic or psychoid —having an emotional-psychological and physiological nexus felt in an area of the body.
Just like when a muscle cramps and clenches, it tightens up and is painful—so do these energy knots. When blocked they create a clenched, restricted, contracted energetic knot that limits the flow of sexual energy. When energy is impacted this way, the physical body feels discomfort, pain, or numbness and a loss of energy or desire—and feeling connected to a partner is diminished.
